Ceecorp

To make way for a modernised community centre, the existing 17m high Springwood community and cultural facility was demolished by Ceecorp.  Given the beautiful and relatively untouched setting of the facility, the demolition was undertaken in a controlled manner to protect the local environment.

 

Also, an essential part of the demolition was in fact to retain, protect and waterproof the existing tallow wood floor of the structure that was otherwise to be demolished.  Ceecorp successful preserved the tallow wood floor which has now been integrated into the new community facility.
